Toyota Camry Brake Light Diagnosis

This video was made on a 1999 Toyota Camry LE model but applies to other Toyota models and years. The brake light comes on. You have to determine what causes it. Is it the emergency brake, is it because of low brake fluid, is it the brake fluid sensor? This video will show you how to diagnose a turned on brake light.

Nice video, but before rushing to top off brake fluid remember that the fluid level will go down slightly as your brake pads wear down due to its longer travel within the brake hose caused by thinning pads, so once the newer thicker pads are in place, it can cause your brake reservoir to overflow if you’ve added too much fluid. 👍🏼

i also saw that a stopper inside the resevoir gets lodged in its hole makin the sensor go

Replaced the. Calipes and everything was ok so when i started the car and release the emergency brake the light was there! So everything was ok before and then light goes away but the thing is when u r driving the light come on and then goes off so . But if u use the emergency brake is working perfect and light get on and when i released the brake light goes off

If you have to add fluid you probably need brakes don't add fluid until you check your brake pads. If the brake caliper pistons are open the fluid goes down
