This is an incredibly dark detail...

One aspect of Ahsoka fans are praising is the portrayal of Ezra Bridger in live action but one of the coolest details of the character is a dark call back to something from Star Wars Rebels.

Tbh I think it be funnier if it’s revealed that he’s been embarrassing them by not killing them, taking their dog tag and or helmet and then disappearing. Imagine have it to report that you got knocked out, and your tag and helmet stolen by a guy that doesn’t even have a lightsaber

Stormtroopers don’t have dog tags, they have identification cards that look completely different, this is probably just some old type of armor that the Noti probably made for him
