As America deals with the election heat, Moscow said it is ready to work with any US leader willing to engage in “equitable, mutually respectful dialogue”. Russia recalled that with Donald Trump as US president, “despite very serious sanctions, dialogue did take place”. Lavrov also recalled that ties between Moscow and Washington were not easy during the Trump presidency, but the two nations maintained contact. Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris campaign said it was “no surprise” Russia was expressing support for Trump and Vance.

Here’s the problem I have with America getting involved with Ukraine and Israel. Both have reasons for wanting help, but neither one should be Americas responsibility. I think NATO only encourages America to get involved with more conflicts and for what? Most of Europe looks at America as a war mongering nation, so by actually trying to get along with Russia we may be able to break the cycle of constant conflict, why is that all the sudden a bad thing? Why is America bad when we get involved with foreign wars, yet also bad when we want to avoid them. It feels like we’re in a loose loose situation and if we are gonna be seen as awful either way, we might as well focus on ourselves. I’d rather be labeled as cold and indifferent than be labeled a war monger.
