I really don’t mind if D4 turned into D3 or PoE2 or Call of duty as long as it improves the gameplay experience and fun !

Out of everything I’m actually excited about the 5 board max. Will it be balanced correctly at first? No, maybe not even by the third time they change the nodes BUT having uncapped boards was just the illusion of choice.

It became more about how many multipliers can you cram into glyph sockets rather than how to optimize a play-style. The vast majority of rare nodes, and especially magic nodes, were left unused in most builds because fitting (insert multiplier here) was more important than getting those nodes. Hopefully this leads to them fixing that.

As a massive D3 fan and played till D4 came out: Im happy these are being implemented. Its so much better. D3's systems were so much better for casual play while also having a lot of growth for hardcore players.

It really bothers me that they tried to show off the changes coming in the game in world tier 2 at level 30. Why would they not show a max level character? We’re essentially in the dark about what endgame feels like until tomorrow.

I accept that the game is changing in a significant way but they can’t just remove player power and insert so many items to make your pit run dungeons or hordes better without fixing other areas of the game like enchanting for example. Poe has items to craft on your maps and it works because there’s a deterministic way of crafting on your gear if you don’t drop the necessary gear. Blizzard needs to change the enchanting system or just remove it entirely. We need some form of deterministic crafting or people will definitely just play Poe 2.

Realistically I think we can expect the herald to have something like +1 or 2 to all skills, 2/4 GA and a cap of 5 or 7 . Which does put it ahead of a shako, and I think this is to allow the use of harmony in its place while still making the SB op. Then there will be builds without harmony that use shako and the herald to max skills or Andariel centipede synergies.

I'm disappointed they didn't add a belt slot like we thought they would. Seems like a wasted opportunity. Could be a utility slot (utility belt for the win)

On the topic of gems, we need something with no cap to put into jewellery slots because resistance and armor caps easily without them in the endgame. Running around with jewellery slots empty is bad design.
