Remembeer many of the songs and still love them. I was 18 and just got my driving license. My life seems so bright and simple. Nothing was impossible. The 50s and 60s was a great time to be young in. ❤❤❤❤❤

I was born in 1961 and so glad I grew up with this music...my parents loved music so it was bigger than TV back on those days. We used to dance with my parents to music of the 60s! oh I miss my parents now....great memories...Patsy...

My father is 71. He was born in 1950. So, he would have been 11 years old when these songs came out. I am searching for the culture of the 1950s and 1960s so I can imagine what it was like for my Dad to grow up during these times. My father is so talented. When he is gone, I will miss him greatly.

I was born in 1948 and started my first band when I waded 13. I am still singing some of these great songs today! There were no recording aids and gimmicks then, just pure talent!!

I'm absolutely shocked at the amount, the level of change that took place from the start of the 1960's until 1969! The style went through one of the most black-to-white transitions I'm aware of! Suddenly somewhere within the span of only 10 years (!!) popular music went from 2:50 second, lovey-dovey pop ditties to 30 minute rock improvisations by the Grateful Dead and darkly poetic, vulgar long-winded rock from The Doors, screaming guitar rock from Led Zeppelin, guitar rock mastery of Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles creating then unheard of sounds in studios (along with the Beach Boys), and instrument-smashing-on-stage insanity courtesy of The Who! The change of genre and style was like night and day and yet THAT incredible transition took place, really in less than 10 years...just brilliant and trend-setting and massively influential! Someone needs to write a book on this topic!

What a time ! This was the 60's before things went crazy and by 1965-66 it began to change fast and furiously and became the 60's as the younger generations now think of it. The early 60's were a continuation of the 1950's. Are we better ? Innocence and propriety lost ? I would go back to this era in a NY minute. Women were real, men were men, food was better, there wasn't much fakeness or fuckery. People knew who they were and why things were the way they were. Society was cohesive, America was envied by the world, families were tight, the future was bright and filled with promise. We've come a long way and not all of it for the better.

To think 60 years later we would still be enjoying these songs.

The best songs in history were from the mid 50s to the mid 70s . There was no doubt about it. That was music then . I have great memories of that era then . Thank you for bringing them back. What an era.!!! Love it. ❤️🇨🇦
