I noticed that when theres immediate danger, hammy is always the first to point it out. He's the forest herald who saved the whole family from the bear and won the battle against the humans .

That manic squirrel did the impossible, thanks to his trusting nature, quick thinking and endless energy.

I like the fact hammy goes off to find the food he "hid in the woods and knows just where it is"
In reality, squirrels often completely forget about their vaults worth of food, this is due to both an over abundance of food (often due to humans replacing predators and squirrels adapting to human life) and the fact their brains physically shrink during hibernation/ winter time leading to real memory loss.

Hammy here depicted by the legendary Steve Carrell might just be the most biologically accurate squirrel ever depicted in fiction!

We all watched this in class today for the end end of our ecosystem unit (we had questions with it, sadly :() but Hammy and Stella was favorited by literally almost everyone! (including, me ;))
