"If you love me you will keep my commandments"

I'm not trying to be argumentative but your stance on this was kind of all over the place. You began with how God's law is eternal and that it should be followed but then it appeared like you finished with justifying why you are disobedient about His law? I totally agree that we are not justified through works at all and that it is only through Yeshua that we are saved. However, shouldn't a follower have a desire to follow His laws regardless of how many times they stumble? Can we live in willful disobedience because we believe in Yeshua?

The true gospel needs to include repentance from sin. The biblical definition of sin is the transgression of the law. Which laws? All the ones that apply to you!

If the law is written in our hearts then it is a part of us and we are a part of it. His law (aka the 10 Commandments) doesn't justify us but we should revere it and NEVER teach others to ignore it.

why is the sabbath the only one of the 10 commandments we no longer keep? I get that we don’t keep all 613 laws of Moses but this is number four of the laws he wrote with his very own finger

This is so misleading and misguided. Rather than pulling verses out of context, study of the whole letter to the Romans reveals that this is not correct. But just pulling a verse out of chapter 3 is not helpful for understanding. A challenge for everyone: carefully read Romans 1-8 and consider the question: what is Paul's overall train of thought? What is he saying? What is he trying to convince the Jewish Christians about? Romans 7:1-6 must make sense when you get there. If you really understand, then 8:1 is so much better! Jeff is not correct here.

You ate bacon made of swine last night?

Isaiah 66

15
For behold, the Lord will come in fire,
And His chariots like the whirlwind,
To render His anger with fury,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.
16
For the Lord will execute judgment by fire
And by His sword on humanity,
And those put to death by the Lord will be many.
17
“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens,
Following one in the center,
Who eat pig’s flesh, detestable things, and mice,
Will come to an end altogether, ” declares the Lord.

Acts 15:10 "Now therefore why tempt ye God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? "Acts 15:24 " Forasmuch as we have heard that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words subverting your souls saying "Ye must be circumcised AND KEEP the law ", to whom we gave NO SUCH COMMANDMENT. " To all who seek to impose the law of Moses on Christs people repent and believe the Gospel. I love Jeff Durbin and he doesn't teach this but the comment section is full of Judaizers God rebuked centuries ago through his Apostles in the Book of Acts. Be encouraged my Brothers in Christ.

My only question is, If we don't have to follow the dietery laws. Why did the disciples did keep the dietery laws. And 2, God is never changing. But he said it's an abomination to him to unclean foods. So did he change and now it's okay?

“The law is written on our most inward parts” but you don’t follow it? “Holiness still applies” and how do we know what that is without the law? “Training wheels are off” so I guess we don’t “need” as much training or education in Gods ways as the disciples. Just….odd

False prophets alert if you come in God's house you must obey God's laws. It always amazing how preachers throw out God's law like it means nothing. Jesus Christ taught obedience to Torah that's why there is so much confused nobody listens to Jesus

2:30 the question wasn't about 'justification' or 'salvation' it was about 'obedience.'

Pastor Jeff, I have an odd question to ask you. What version of the Bible do you recommend? I have a King James version but genuinely wonder what version you use. I would love to see an episode where you discuss the different versions of bibles. Thank you

Why did only Israel need "training wheels?"

When I hear Jeff teaching there’s no need to keep God’s instructions in His Torah is like hearing Satan teaching Eve that God’s instructions aren’t really important.
If God removed Adam and Eve from the garden for eating an apple how much more will He deal with those for eating swine?
You’re teaching children to stumble Jeff and you are their stumbling block.
Rev 14:12  Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yeshua

I'm curious what you think of sabbath. As in keeping the biblical sabbath on the 7th day not just taking a rest day anytime. Does this also fall into the things we no longer deem as important?
