Two Different Lifestyles, One Way Part 1

Jamal was excited to learn his new high school was implementing a policy requiring all students to wear uniforms. Jamal’s middle school years had been challenging. He was bullied and teased by other students because of his clothing and made to feel less than. However, with the uniform policy, everyone would have to wear the same attire. He understood his parents could not afford designer clothing and shoes; their priority was meeting the needs of the household.

Scripture tells us the only way to God is through Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). By placing God above all else, turning away from sin, and allowing Him to lead the way is how we securely get through this earthly life. And in doing so, the blessings and promises of our Father in Heaven await those who choose to follow Christ.
