"Good prioritization feels bad." So true. It physically pains me to skip topics that I find really compelling but irrelevant to my goals.

I lost 30 lbs (out of 160) since spring with my only exercise commitment being “just put on workout clothes and go outside or get on the treadmill for a couple minutes” Sometimes I go back to the couch after that but usually I end up jogging for awhile.

1.Pareto principle
80/20 principle
-planning your time (list out 10 things but do only 2 now ur aware that ur losing something for productivity)

-good priority feels bad(it needs to feel bad bcos ur sacrifice something making it productive for the things u have sacrificed for

-think holistically (don’t just study and burn yourself out recovering is too impossible)

2.Zegernic effect
A task is easier to complete when incomplete (so think just think just do some task and try to leave it unfinished) is reduced procrastination

3.Championship game mindset
Sacrifice few things for now to win the long game (don’t try to ace the current tests rather focus on what u need to crack the championship)

4.Bonus point
——Pareto square principle (divide ur tasks into subtasks and prioritize them) 4%work 64%result

——zegarnic effect squared
Organized ur stuff like organizing space, do not disturb, books,

——-reverse zegarnic effect
Make a distraction so hard u don’t feel like doing it

———-campion method squared
(time of work doesn’t matter what matters is what u do in that time)
(Don’t be passive sacrificing few things now is a better option than regretting latter in future

The main focus that I think needs to be highlighted before you can attempt these pillars is AWARENESS it’s harder than you think but through meditation, exercise and thought observation you can get close to self awareness. Then intuition becomes better knowing what you should do next becomes easier. Walks in nature alone are probably the best for self awareness, ego dampening, trauma processing, and health

Do 20% of the work, don’t finish anything, and lose all the time. Got it! (In all seriousness, these are all very interesting, will be applying these in the future)

I just deleted Snapchat and COD yesterday to stay focused on my future trading education. In just a day, I’ve absorbed a massive amount of information that would normally take a week to grasp. Thank you for the video!

This video is actually blowing my mind. Especially the Zeigarnik effect. I often procrastinate menial tasks, but the thing that makes obsess about things like projects or video games is exactly like you said, it leaves something in my mind that I KNOW needs to be completed and then I want to complete it, especially when I’m busy with something else. The dots are truly starting to connect. I think this is why people become so obsessed with project cars. It’s not so much about completing the car but thinking about what to do next during its incomplete state.

Simple Domain: Locked in Supercharged State
1. Domain Expansion: Pareto’s Principle of Prioritization
2. Cursed Technique: Zeigarnik Effect (Brings out 120% of Locked in Potential)
RCT: Reverse Zeigarnik Effect (Self Gaslighting Technique)
3. Student looks up and says “Nah, I’d Win”

Thanks! I used the Pareto Principle on this video and only watched the 6 most important minutes. Then I even used the Pareto squared and watched just the 72 most important seconds!!!! Unfortunately, I don't know what the other two tips are, but I'm sure they're just as useful. :)

I've applied this to my distance running by running only 20% of the distance and leaving it unfinished by not even completing that and it's freed up so much time!

i love how these methods can be applied to anything. it’s not just studying it’s not just fitness it can be applied to anything you procrastinate in life whether it’s keeping a consistent schedule or trying to narrow down just one aspect, it works. it’s amazing. 100% something we would be much better off with knowing from a young age.

It feels like I've been subconsciously doing really similar things over the years, but having someone that put it into words just exactly what I did that contributed to the success to further refine the thought process was incredibly helpful.

30:23 I think a main component of the Supercharged Championship mentality that’s missing is one’s ability to trust themselves. Imposter syndrome and self doubt are very real, but so is our ability to overcome them!😊

It's such a blessing to have such good and scientifically valid advice presented in a clear manner. Even the 'good' advice you find on YT or other sources is often presented out of context, making it impossible to apply in anything but a 'band-aid' manner. My own personal obsession these days is language learning - there is floods of YTers giving advice on this, some of which is useless, some counterproductive, some good, but not presented in a manner which is genuinely useful. I wish someone would do this sort of presentation for language learning, instead of having to spend many hours finding the jewels of advice in the midst of all the sludge.

When I was in college for massage therapy, I took a course beforehand on "learning how to learn" and used those techniques (Perato Principle, Pomodoro Technique, Reviewing what I learned each day by rewriting my notes, etc. etc.). I studied probably less than half of the time that my classmates did, and ended up being asked to hold study sessions because I remembered the material so well. Upper 90s on every test, was able to spend time on my hobbies and friendships on the weekends/evenings. Our brains are wired to learn, we just have SO many bad physical and mental habits that restrict committing the things we learn to long term memory
