My daughter and I very much enjoyed this film. I wish it wasn't limited release, hope red box and netflix will help more people have the opportunity to see it. I hope to own the blue ray myself!

This movie is historically accurate. We learned about it in a class called queer theory. During the victorian area, where sexuality was a subject of taboo, it was thought that the female orgasm was an ailment that needed treatment. The vibrator was invented as a method of treatment for "hysteria." Crazy stuff.

Really funny film. Bit like Road to Wellville if you've seen that. Great cast too. Usually if it's got Rupert Everett, Maggie Gyllenhall, Sheridan Smith, Anna Chancellor, Gemma Jones and Jonathan Pryce in it, you know it's going to be quirky. First class. x

This is a great movie, everyone should see it... I actually find Maggie Gyllenhaal a very good actress, and personally, very pretty. I think she has an interesting face.
