Hysteria ~ Trailer

Based on the surprising truth of how Dr. Mortimer Granville came up with the world's first electro-mechanical vibrator, "Hysteria" is centered on the invention in Victorian-era England. Dancy and Pryce star as doctors in London who use this new and unusual electrical device to treat cases of hysteria, characterized at the time by a woman's irritability, anger, or unexplained tears. Gyllenhaal portrays the daughter of Pryce's character.
