Mathematics Course Selection: Year 10 into Year 11

Different from the American system. For us it was if you were really smart and wanted to take IB Calculus then 11th grade was pre-calc, 12th grade was calc. If you thought college might be something you wanted to do then you'd probably have Algebra II and some College Prep math (similar to general, I'd assume). And, finally, if you had no math skills and no desire to go use it in the future, you'd either have no math or just a remedial class to make sure you had enough skills to pass your high school exit exam. However, there was very LITTLE choice in it. I never sat down and had pros/cons of calculus explained to me. It was just, hey you're smart, go in that class.

How do you know if you will make it into an extension 1 class in year 11 from year 10?

Hi sir, im a guy in yr 10 5.34 cths. Would like to know how many hours i should study to achieve 4 unit in year 12. kk thanks Mr Woo, also is there any chance for a 5.34 student to get into 4 unit for year 12
