firebase_storage (Package of the Week)

If you’re building an app that uses a lot of images or other assets, then you’ll need a service to store all your files. Firebase’s Cloud Storage is a tool that integrates with Flutter to do just that.

Sadly, it does not support background usage, hope they add it in the future since it's crucial for many apps to be able to download and specially upload files in background

Firebase Storage is definitely a beautiful tool. However, there is a slight delay when loading images. Of course, it can be improved to some extent through image caching, but it is still not satisfactory.
