Uploading Images to Firebase Storage (and retrieving them)

Firebase is a platform that contains many useful features including the Firestore database which we’ve used in the past. Firebase also contains a Storage feature which allows you to upload files such as images for later retrieval. This is what you’re going to learn how to use today.

Hi Chris! Thank you very much for the video. It helped me a lot for my Startup. I have a specific question and hope that you reply to it.. why do you save the filename of Storage (pointer) in the value of the key "url" in Firestore and not the imageURL, which ist generated in Storage ? That would save a Firebase Storage call.. or did I understand something wrong? What is your opinion?
