Just one slight problem there. Venus doesn‘t has a (very strong) magnetic field, so it‘s completely unshielded against solar flares.

It seems to me that the Biomass of incalculable numbers of Bacteria, Animals, Insects, Fungus and other forms of life of a New Venus Biosphere would sequester about 550 to 700 gigatons of carbon. Removing that much Carbon and releasing the Oxygen that it was bound to would help a lot and be just to make it Earth like. Incredible Thought experiment. Thanks to T. I think that the problem with terraforming is not the length of the process, but the short-sightedness of the human kind. Climate change is happening right now and we still barely do anything, so to prepare for a thousand years into the future? I don't think we have this mental capacity.
