Yes. It's like a child, teen, young adult... who says to themselves, "ok, I've got it. I'm going to go do this thing, and I don't need any more help". The mistakes that they make are good learning experiences so, as a parent, you're mad, but you help them out of it while explaining where it went wrong. We as humans are the perpetual child at various stages of development. You often hear of the elderly on their death bed, who reflect on their life, and recognize where they may have placed importance onto the wrong things. What God wants for us, how we should behave, are actually very fundamentally simple.

Good Friday is lasting a really long time... I'm pretty sure it's time for Easter Sunday already...

I love Catholics. But sometimes they seem to want the cross without the resurrection. Suffering often gets glorified by my catholic friends. When I'm talking to them I sometimes get the impression that their religion stopped on Good Friday. But what's even better than Good Friday is Easter Sunday. That's where my faith is. I don't only believe that Jesus died on the cross, I also believe that he rose again, gave us hope and didn't leave us alone but sent us the Holy Spirit. And suffering is not one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Yes, suffering is a part of life. But we want to get past that and be joyful.
