Additionally, Pope Benedict XVI’s personal secretary plans to release a tell-all book that his publisher says will describe certain ‘dark maneuvers.’ But Glenn also has his own, personal experiences in Vatican City that lead him to believe there could be sinister forces attempting to gain a foothold there. There's something about the energy within St. Peter's Basilica I experienced when visiting there that is identical to the energy I experienced at the Trevi Fountain in Rome and in the US Capitol building and environs in Washington, D.C. I used to describe it as an unnatural hush, the way sounds in the environment are muffled by a snowfall. Sound doesn't amplify the way it should, as if one is in a pressurized bubble, perhaps some kind of force field containing the incoming sound waves. Though motion and movement are evident (birds chirping, water splashing, tourists conversing), the sounds don't project in an expected way. Thinking about it again today, I'm inclined to describe the energy in these places as too still, lifeless...dead. Even sinister.

I grew up in in a Christian family. As a teen committed my life to Christ. Went to work in many ministries for the next 27 years, and for most of those ministries I became aware that greed & power were working there. I finally left and got away from all that. Now it's me serving God in a better way. Beware of organized religion and mega churches!

I went in the Vatican in 1963? When I was in the Marines and before it was cleaned up. The place was so dark and I was alone and not with a tour I didn’t feel safe so I got out of there. It felt evil and churches aren’t supposed to feel evil….

I was a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). And what I saw happening in that church was foreign to anything in the Bible. Now, remember, the Lutheran Church was founded on "the Four Solas", one of which is "sola scriptura", that is, Scripture alone as the norm for the faith, life, and proclamation of the Church. Nevertheless, in spite of that supposed bedrock for the Lutheran Church, the ELCA has in effect, if not in Word, renounced the authority of the Bible and has aligned itself with everything that God in the Bible stands for. In many ways, it resembles more of a Baal cult than the biblical church it is supposed to be. So, in many ways, although I did not experience the "creepy" factor Glenn did meeting that guy, the wickedness was there.

I went to the Vatican in June 1991. Inexplicably, when I walked up the steps to enter, I was overcome with weeping. I still don't have discernment. It wasn't cleansing, it was grieving.
