BALI, INDONESIA | The History, Religion & Culture

While visiting the Goa Gajah temple outside of Ubud, Bali I paid for a guided tour with a local woman. In the process I learned a lot about the history, religion and culture of this unique Hindu island in Indonesia.

Interesting memory of Rishi Agastya from India 5.11 - 5.14. I understand his statue is in Yogyakarta. Also story of Ganesha's head from Indra's elephant Airavata's baby (ugh!) 11:55...
Interesting of course that the Buddhist master Atisha came to Indonesia to get bodhicitta teachings from his Indonesian guru...
