I wholeheartedly agree: A real man = an alpha male with bulging muscles. I was never that and never wanted to be that, but I always appreciated women (including my girlfriends) who wanted a real man, and I always encouraged my girlfriends to find a real man. (They knew I wasn’t one, and my girlfriends were always all too happy to oblige me, lol!) Looking back, I guess I always knew I was really a woman. I’m probably too old now to have sexual reassignment surgery, and this makes me very sad. But, I’m ready to embrace my true gender and live it out in the world— as opposed to just fantasizing about it— as best I can.
