Walmart has these for $24 this week. They cost $1.68 are $1 a month on 24 month contract and after one day you can buy out the contract for $24 and the phone is yours. Its a great deal as second phone.

I got it today for $150 Canadian. I checked galaxy a14 and it costs $320 Canadian, that's more than half the price. For my young daughter to call and text. Don't wanna get her a phone that will cost an arm and a leg just for text and call.

They should've went with a mediatek dimensity 800 or the snapdragon 730G and went with OLED display and 1080 display and they could've put bump the battery to 6000mah battery and work on their camera improvements

Sounds like this phone's display is similar to one of them bargain basement free government devices, which will make you dizzy if you try looking at it head-on. Those you have to actually tilt at an angle to get a decent viewing. It's ridiculous

The major cost cuttings on these vfm phones are usually the charging speeds, sensors (location, compass, barometer), fingerprint, and the RAM/Storage options, particularly for the Moto G Play Series, but the 2024 model has most of the shortcomings fixed.

I tried the Moto G Power with this Mediatek G37. Slow, lagging. Takes forever to process a picture. This is not my Moto G Play 2021 withe the very good budget snapdragon 460.

It's a nice IPS LCD display (90 Hz).
The A14 might have better side viewing angles cause its AMOLED, but sideways is not how one uses a phone ideally, and sharpness wise, they both must be the same, because of similar resolution.

I got this phone for 139.99. I think that's a better price than 170. It will probably be even cheaper once it gets in stock with Verizon. 140 is much more reasonable
