As Ricky Gervais said before: a joke is a joke and either comes from a good place or a bad place. Jo Koy absolutely had a kind heart, he shouldn't have apologized, just kept things super awkward. That would've been amazing seeing hollywood stars speechless for once. Not every performace will be stellar but Hollywood stars need to come off of of their high horses!

When a known-A-Listers hosted such a prestigious award, those big stars were already ready not to laugh..but when a well-known to them hosted the show, most especially, a Brit like Ricky, they laughed even though they were roasted from head to toe!!
***Why are so many viewers making this Jokoy monologue such a big deal? Jokoy is a comedian, and why so thin-skinned when roasting them, it's Hollywood!! They should be a big sport
*** Respectable celebrities defended Jokoy such as Steve Martin, Whoopie, Ophra, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Kevin Hart, Joy Behar, Melissa Rivers, , and even Greta Gerwig who wrote Baarbie agreed that his joke about Barbie was spot on, that Barbie was the first doll that mass manufactured dolls with big boobs!!. It's Hollywood, and the host is a stand-up comedian!!
****Those celebrities should be a big sport about those jokes!! Or some of them play a diva that could not take a joke!! ..Chill !!!

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. How about the time Chris Rock being slapped on the face by Will Smith and nobody, not even one stood and defended Chris Rock or even approach to console him after all the pain and embarassment he got ? 😂

They even laughed at Chris Rock and gave Will Smith a hug, a standing ovation and a 19minute of speech

Jokoy makes fun of himself a lot as a Filipino? Come on people, wake up!!! Chill! Nothing to do with race at all! What do you expect from a comedian, give a dramatic hosting a show so your tears can roll down? I think Jokoy did great! The Barbie joke isn’t sexist. Since when do toys have definitive genders and what happened to never judging something over their biological sexual organs? Hypocritical Hollywood. He really revealed the true nature of Hollywood and Internet Cancel Culture after one revealing night of pettiness for a few missed jokes that isn't even his writing. It's fantastic. Screw the writers but he needs to own the jokes as well. He doesn't need to apologize. It's part of the gig with less prep time. Other GG hosts roast with no remorse. So what's different this time? Lots factor comes to mind but some are more obvious than others.
