The key to happy customers is happy employees. The Baristas can't be expected to give great customer experiences and provide fast service, when they are pressured to have 45 second interaction times....all while being bombarded with delivery orders. People in the Cafe and drive thru don't see the 15-20 Doordash orders. That delivery process needs a separate barista, pick up station, etc. It's taking away from the experience of in cafe customers. The biggest issues are understaffing, process and cafe ambience. If you fix those, price won't be an issue. If a restaurant can charge $4 for a crappy cup of coffee and $10 for a slice of cake, price isn't the issue for a hand crafted drink. It's value and experience. Start with the Barista experience, and the customer experience will improve naturally.

My spouse commented on how our local Scooters coffee ☕️ is so much faster than waiting forever for Starbucks. It is the price and the wait. It is like they think people are so addicted to coffee that they will put up with anything.

The only thing this CEO knows how to do is reduce portions and raise prices. He is a one trick pony. Never once saw the customer experience improve at Chipotle. Just portions going down and prices going up.

Went to my local SB in San Antonio and waited 15 mins for a basic small latte; $7 and then the audacity to be prompted for a tip.

In office is funny cause it is easy to enjoy the "culture" from the executives position... you get a nice office and are in meeting rooms with free food and drinks all day...the average employee experience is an open environment cube sitting on Teams calls all day long. 🤣

Overpriced sucky coffee is not selling. I wonder why that’d be case.

many problems with Starbucks as a customer POV: The coffee taste burnt, or the milk in my lattes I will never know or understand why. The price feels like it increase all the time, and is never consistent. I recently checked that cold foam is now 1.62, for cold foam that never looks like the pictures they advertise. They discontinued most of the good drinks they had( rip raspberry syrup) and all that contributes to the feeling of daylight robbery. Most people now make coffees at home (shout out nespresso) but if people are going to buy coffee from Starbucks, it’s simply not the same anymore. Expensive, and simply not worth it… sorry for the rant !

Doesn't matter who the new CEO is . I make better coffee at home with 20c so why would i spend $7 for a cup of coffee?

First cost saving measure: Add mostly ice for Online orders. Add less ice if customers show up recording.

A company is it's employees and if the employees are not happy the company will suffer.

If you want to feel the ‘energy, ’ why not relocate to the Seattle office instead of hopping around in a private jet? Seems a bit hypocritical :D

Starbucks lost me a few years back. Give me at least ONE freakin’ location in my neighborhood with soft, comfortable seating that I can go into to warm up on a cold winter’s day and I will instantly be a loyal customer again!
