100 percent true. It's sad to see students from the lower middle class take big loans and do MBA from these crap colleges. They lose money, dont even get a basic job. It's a social problem.

There is a new trend nowadays to devalue education to look cool in front of camera and start a podcast 💀 there are only 10k seat in total of tier 1 colleges for mba meanwhile more than lacs of students who are jobless and appearing for cat. And it depends upto your situation. My cousins started applying for jobs and internships after her graduation and she is didn't got any job. She did her mba from tier 2 college and got a package of 9 lacs in pwc. And i know, 9 lacs isn't a lot of money, but its better than being jobless, choose whats best for you instead of listening to some guy you never want to become in future. If she is hardworking enough she can reach to manager level and start making 20-30 lacs in few years, mba opened a door for her. Each to thier own 🤷‍♀️

Thats 100% true . One of my uncle is just 8th pass, but his networth is more than 20cr and he runs his real estate business. But the fact is that 1 of his employee is Mba + graduated, but his salary is less or more than 30k 🙂🙂.

That average MBA lands you a decent job and most middle class struggle to find it. Not everyone has connections and sources to connect and work in a startup and can't keep struggling because they have a family to take care of. Their parents are dependent on them. It's worthless ruining young minds who get doomed thinking that an MBA degree is a waste if you don't do it from a top tier business school.

It's important to evaluate your life goals and don't fall for these traps. Understand where you stand in life, and then take a quick call.

Rich people's kid have different attitude. I once met a girl who was looking for arranged marriage. She appeared for CAT exam that year and she simply didn't know what are these IIM type colleges. She was adamant to get into a college which was nearby her locality 😅🤣 so that commute won't be a problem

I think its time to build high standards for such coveted degrees. Engineering and MBA colleges have opened like Kirana stores degrading the quality of education. Govt should lay down standards for students as well as colleges.

Mba is not only about pursuing it from IIM. The course is so broad, it is open to any sector.. Even if people do mba from low grade college, they'll get a degree which will act like an employment tool in government sector. Take it coal India, SAIL, govt banks there are some roles which requires MBA degree and if a person crack those exam then they'll get a good and secure job like specialist in government banks... At some point MBA is a life saver . If you only think about going to a top rated corporate then that's too shallow of your thinking

It's a education problem, In a country of billion people its depressing there are only 10-15 colleges worthy of giving education all others a piece of crap and thats why there is such an intense competition in the society not because its the best institution in the world but because there are few who can give you decent education

If you do your mba from the top 40 colleges then its good, you will get a good/decent packages but if you do it from a local college or a tier 3 college then its a waste of time and money. So if you don't get a seat in the top 40 colleges then you should try to give cat and other exams again ...

Atleast, most of my friends form my unkown MBA college are doing good jobs with around Rs. 500, 000 per annum which is an okay salary .

Lol he is just a MBA hater who don't have even the basic knowledge of MBA. He mentioned "only 10-15" colleges but the number of Indian Institute of Management campuses is 20 and all the IIMs have 100% campus placement records and not only IIMs there are other colleges like XLRI, IIFT, JBIMS, TISS, FMS, NMIMS, Sydhnem, Pumba, SIBM, ISB, GIM, Mica etc who offeres 100% campus placements but this guy don't even know 10% about Indian management institutes
