Indian companies doesnt need highly skilled employees in large number that can be paid high salaries but just basic skills enough to do the job for peanuts .

The salary and jobs offered depends on the college. In the world of commerce, only thing that depends is what college you go to, same thing is taught in IIMs and tier 3 colleges, but it only depends on the name of college

Why is the GGI so different from an MBA? Placements are one parameter; retention duration is another and probaly more meaningful as it shows the true job fit. I do respect the recognition of the problem - but the solution needs to be as specific too. Another aspect: Theres also a considerable market for the Milennials as career shifts become inevitable. Thats another niche. Unfo career counselling is still so nascent in India...
