Level designs like these truly come from the most dark twisted minds of Nintendo. Every muscle in your body tenses with each jump the further you get the sicker you feel. It took me 38 tries and when I finally made it to the top I SCREAMED with joy.

I'm not gonna lie it feels good to know other people suffered on this level as much as I did

I don't know who designed this level, but they are sadistic as hell. Took me over 37 lives to complete it

When I started this level I had 56 lives, when I finally finished it I had 5. This was the hardest level I've ever had to endure in a Mario Game by far

This level taught me that I was doing wall kicks wrong. My original process (and basically my process going back decades to any other Mario platformer) was jump to a block, hope for a connection/slide, then change stick direction, THEN jump again. I failed this level hundreds of times (not exaggerating: I filled up on 99 lives thrice), dozens of times just a few jumps away. If you are experiencing the same thing, change your process. jump to a block, keep holding that direction, make connection with the block, !! JUMP FIRST !!, THEN switch the direction of your stick. When you get it right, you should feel a little back and forth between actions in your left and right hand. It will be much, much more consistent. I went from seething over this level last night to beating it three times in a row without a death today.

It took 150+ lives and over 2 hours for me to complete... got so close double digit times... I'm so glad I got it over with... my trouble was the last 8 jumps back and forth...

The final 5 seconds is brutal. It took me 20 tries or more just to get the wall kicks fast enough

You have to be spot on when doing this. Absolutely no room for mistakes

What makes this stage so frustrating isn't the precise jumping, it's the TIMING of the beat! It starts off slow and continues picking up as you go, so you're constantly having to adjust your speed, which just fills your body with anxiety! Half my deaths were just from going TOO fast early on cause I didn't want to fall behind, but I can't go too fast either!

I was so happy when I got past the Jump!Jump!Jump! Level, and then 10 minutes later I get smacked in the face with this level 🥴 edit: after 150-200 attempts I've finally done this demonspawn of a level

Beat this level last night after dying between 30-40 times. This is arguably the craziest level I’ve ever done in a Mario game and that’s really saying something.

Float High Jump badge helps a lot with this level, but the most important thing is being Big Mario (you spawn as small Mario if you die). If you're big Mario, you have a bigger hit box for getting traction for wall jumping which is extremely important for the last segment of this level (as seen in the video). I died like 40 times with the Float Badge, then looked up this video and tried the Auto Mushroom Badge and beat it first try. Being big Mario is critical for this level, imo.

Just in case you thought Jump! Jump! Jump! was too easy.

tip for anyone else stuck here: don't hold Y when you are chaining wallkicks. your thumb muscle will tense up and get slow. you can still make the final section without holding Y

One tip I find helpful (assuming you dont care about the purple coins) is to wait at the beginning. Don't jump the instant you see the blocks appear. Instead, wait until the second set pops up, then begin. Same deal with the first climb. Wait until the green blocks appear, then start jumping. This makes sure you don't go too fast, since the pace isn't as quick at the beginning, and leaves room for over-jumping. After that point, you want to start jumping as soon as you see the blocks appear.

Thanks this was helpful. Pro tips: you can use Yoshi without auto mushroom as he give you the full size to hit hard walls at end. Also if you are sliding down a block and falling to death, you are probably jumping too early. “hug” the wall then hit b to jump. Even slide down a tad then hit B. If using Yoshi use float badge. Now u get full size yoshi that auto mushroom gives other characters. And float skill needed. Lastly if truly desperate, play online and if u die toward end, see if a kind person left you a placard at end of level. Flutter there fast and then do not forget to grab seed before countdown! Hope this all helps. This is the crazy “Yoshi’s purple coins” level of Mario galaxy you’ve been dreaming about!

I lost around 80 lives on this level, until I was about to give up and ended up beating it. My hands are sore.

After dying 20 times in this level I finally did it

The level is next to impossible. If you're too fast, you get punished. If you're too slow, you get punished. It's ridiculous
