I appreciate anyone who takes the trouble to set the record straight with facts and logic. I feel this Tattler journalist is an excellent person.

Netflix takes a lot of liberty with the truth.

She accommodated Mrs Thatcher and Dennis in a cold, back lying granite house, surrounded by a mature pine forest, up a long rough road within Balmoral estate.
It's roughly 2 miles from the castle, far enough away that the Queen was unlikely to encounter Mrs Thatcher while out walking.

The Queen did not like Thatcher. It was well known at the time. This doesn't mean she wasn't polite to her.

Gracious. People think what she did was easy. She did not express any personal feelings for 70 years. She was a moarch during the times when democracy was the dominant political force in the world. She was anointed.

They had respect for one another, personally.

The Crown gets a lot of Royal Family scenes wrong especially about Prince Phillip

Thank you. I'm an American. Who generally enjoyed " The Crown".
But the Hatred of those who made that series was Evident to me...even from across the pond.
...Yet as pointed out on this post, the Queen's optional actions showed instead Deep Respect for PM Thatcher.

The whole Thatcher plot line was an absolute joke and while Gillian Anderson is a great actor, this hammy erratic portrayal was seriously wide of the mark

What's the point of this series if full of factual errors? History should not be flushed just get few ratings

I thought the Queen attended Porchie’s funeral as well his wife the Countess’s funeral
