How To Say Yes in European Portuguese like a native speaker!// If you want to stop saying "sim" in Portuguese, because this is the only word you know and you use it a lot to answer "yes".
If you want to vary a little bit, and learn some synonyms to "sim", this is the right video for you!

I'm really enjoying the more 'inside' cultural aspects of the language in these videos. Obrigado..

I think 'Sim, Senhor/a' might be translated in English as 'Yes sir/ma'am.' It satisfies both the 'more polite' way of saying yes, and the application to acknowledging children (kind of like atta [that a] boy or atta girl).
