Abel is bringing Monique to court for full custody and child support. Monique says she still has issues related to post partum such as depression and Abel was not there for her. The depression temporarily disappeared briefly so Monique could beat up Abel's new girlfriend.

People need to stop calling it “helping with the child” when it’s their own child. It’s your responsibility. You shouldn’t be “helping” mom but raising the child together.

The father is a hypocrite. I was 100% for the dad until he confessed he had a girlfriend. I commend the mother for her desire to keep the family together - with the exception of the assault charge. I hope the mother files for support and the father grows up and financially, emotionally and developmentally supports his son.

I’m a mother of 4. With my last baby I got PPD she’s nine years old now and I’m still on meds. I absolutely hate that people assume PPD shouldn’t last that long.

Any man who's jealous of a baby/child doesn't like children. He doesn't want the child because he thinks she/he are in danger, he wants the child to get back at the mother AND to not pay child support.

I completely understand where she is coming from. HOWEVER- my personal feeling from experience of having a child, if you don’t ask for help, or vocalize what you need, your partner isn’t going to understand what they should try to do to help you. The partners often don’t understand that new mothers get overstimulated with being grabbed at non stop by the child, the loud crying and loud vocals of a child, constantly being needed, that will absolutely over stimulate your senses making you feel like don’t touch me when your partner wants physical attention. My husband also felt this way, left behind bc a new mom is so hyper focused on her offspring it’s hard to understand how to balance the relationships as a whole.
