I believe that mermaids once existed, and they might exist now, but im not sure. None of us can say if they are real or fake, because 95% of the ocean is undiscovered.

I think that if mermaids exist, they probably aren't human colored. They probably are covered in scales and barnacles and coral and are colored like actual fish and objects. Like if they live in a coral reef, they probably can change color like an octopus and don't have pretty hair. If they live in the deep ocean, they probably have skin like a shark or a dolphin or whale and have barnacles on their fins and are followed by tiny fish that clean them (like the fish that follow sharks and whales). They probably look as far from human as they can get but still vaguely humanoid because of what sailors have reported in the past.

OK, Let 95% of nature be undiscovered; but when you CLAIM there exists a creature namely such and such and has such body, features etc. you have to PROVE it (provide valid evidences), ... not merely assume "there it might be".
