Fire and Frost Mage Buffs Next Week! Convo & Expected Gains

I just hope they'll make some minor adjustments to the spellslinger mechanics at some point to make it feel less oversaturated with procs. Frost procs barely even feel satisfying to get anymore because of how many of them you get plus how much they overlap with each other. So many FoF and WC procs that all overlap. The fact that even spells like GS & piss beam are barely worth using during CDs even after them getting a 15%+ buff just shows how much of a failed design Frost has become.

But I feel like I'm alone with this opinion. I prefer MoP-WoD style proc gameplay where you still cast a fair amount and where gaining a FoF & Brain Freeze proc actually felt really satisfying because it happened less frequently. The more often something happens, the less special it feels. And Frost (Fire too) has reached that point big time where none of the procs feel FUN anymore and instead feel like a necessity.

If they're promoting GS so much, at least let us have the Glacial aoe splash dmg that we had in DF :__:, otherwise our only playable build really clashes with Spellsinger Hero Tree

I hope they buff the FrostFire hero talents and play around casting frostfire bolt, If they could bring back the 2% damage spell insead of 1% which is really bad. They did nerf it on the beta and now the spec is bad performing in PVE. The visual of this spec is so cool hope it can be good performing again

I stubbornly still hold the opinion that FF is not that behind SS, and a lot of SS is sim bait. Will be curious to see how logs progress in the next ~2 weeks. Agreed that Fire is sleeper and just suffering from coming out of launch very weak

People, question. If spellslinger is basically using orb + ice lances, doesnt make haste completely useless aside global cd reduction? If everything is instant cast, crit and mastery are way more relevant for m+, or am I missing something?
