Yikes, this did not age well, especially with the cancer diagnosis 😬.

Listen I'm pretty mixed about the concept of royalty itself. But, this was just about a woman who took a sick leave after abdominal surgery. The palace stated she would be back after Easter. And people went crazy about her so-called "disappearance". And even though that has changed now due to chemotherapy, she absolutely deserves some dignity and privacy when on a sick leave. You can and should absolutely be critical towards the system of monarchy as taxpayers, but to create chaos for someone whose "fault" is iust being sick, is honestly just horrendous.

I don't understand how people find talk show personalities making crass comments, jokes and theories about someone who has underwent a major abdominal surgery that requires weeks (or months) of recovery funny. I genuinely wonder what these personalities feel right now after their target of ridicule was forced to come out and say that she has cancer, had gone through major surgery, is undergoing chemotherapy, and is trying to recuperate at the same time explain to her kids her condition. I mean, do these people feel no shame at all? Do they simply shrug it off and say c'est la vie, still good business for us! 🤷‍♀️
