I have this particular species they try to get rid of it's name and clump this in with Opuntia Ellisiana but that species is spineless this a Texas blue prickly pear Opuntia cacanapa I knew immediately by the height I have this plant in a pot and he's grown 2 feet this year 2 years old and nearing 4 feet tall
