Setting Up for Slaughter

Day 115 - I rearrange the fencing and the shelter to make an appropriate setup for slaughtering the lambs.

Hope everything turns out fine for your big day. You've prepared well. Thanks for sharing the experiences with us. Those guys are serving as a lot more than just some food, which is great to see. I'm not sure if I'm the only one to think this way. But would it not be kinder for the animals not to see there friends get slaughter especially when there facing the same thing. I don't have any animals. So just wondering

About to go watch "tomorrows video". I hope it all goes well. I can tell it is uncomfortable process. But it should be uncomfortable.Hoping tomorrow goes well with out incident. And it is the best thing you can do....provide for your family in one of the most natural ways. I have really LOVED following the journey with these lambs (and your other videos). Keep it up. - Mike

Hey Grass, man, I know you are not feeling so well today with the slaughter because in your video I could see it in your eyes and facial expressions. It is hard to do, especially when you have grown to become attached to your animals. This will pass G. Have faith in GOD as we should all walk that path. But always remember, as through all of my researches and stories I read that something has to die for something or someone else to live. Be strong, be thankful and be proud of yourself for doing this project to feed your family. You are a step above me as of now, but I can tell you, I would feel the same way. Be and feel BLESSED brother and take your time if you have to mourn, then move on just being and getting stronger as you grow in this lifestyle.
