Actually you are kind of wrong on 1 point. I know becouse i got a hair transplant that im going to talk about and i have because of this done a lot of research.
Grafting is not just a piece of skin with 10 hairs. Thats the old plug technique that never gets used anymore. The 2 techniques that do get used are FUT and FUE.

The first involves removing a strip of skin from the back of the head(the donor area) with hairs in it and then sowing the scalp back together. Then hair follicles get removed from this strip and places ONE BY ONE in the recipient area. to create natural results.

The second FUE is the one i got and in many ways is similar. But instead of a strip of skin being removed enitrely a tiny drill is used to remove sparsely hairs 1 by 1, 1 "graft" at a time which contains 1 to 3 hairs. This is done in a sparse way so that the donor area will not look thin. Then also these individual grafts are placed ONE BY ONE in the recipient area.
