It's the second day of the Conservative Party's first conference in opposition in 15 years.

All the party's leadership candidates are set to make multiple appearances at Q&As and 'in conversation' events.

It was an eventful first day yesterday, with Kemi Badenoch provoking controversy by saying maternity pay is "excessive" and has "gone too far" - although she later told us that she was "misrepresented".

Her leadership rivals pounced on the comments, however, and the row splashes many of the newspaper front pages today. Expect this one to rumble on...

Here are the key events today:

9.30am - Shadow chancellor Jeremy Hunt to appear 'in conversation' on the main stage

12.30pm - Former PM Liz Truss will make an appearance at an 'in conversation' event

2pm - Leadership contender Tom Tugendhat will answer questions on the main stage for around an hour

3pm - Leadership contender Kemi Badenoch will answer questions on the main stage for around an hour

There are multiple events around those headline ones, so do stay with us as we bring you all the latest from the Conservative Party conference throughout the day

The Liz Truss interview underlines PRECISELY why the Tories were thrashed. Absolute lunacy.
