200G POTATOES! I make this almost every week! Super simple and delicious potato bread recipe
Ingredients:
warm milk 75ml
white sugar 4g/1tsp
unsalted butter 15ml/1tbsp
small egg 1
all-purpose flour 150g
salt 1.5g/¼tsp
potatoes 200g
salt
black pepper
crushed red pepper
parsley
mozzarella cheese 40g
sesame seeds(optional)
Recipe:
2 potatoes (200g)
Dice the potatoes
1tbsp water
Cover with saran wrap and poke holes
Microwave for 4-5 minutes
Salt
Black pepper
Mash the potatoes
1tsp crushed red pepper
1tsp parsley
40g mozzarella cheese
Mix well
75ml warm milk
4g white sugar
1.5g active dry yeast
Mix and wait for 5 minutes
1 small egg
Whisk well
Save about 5ml for later
Save about 5ml for later
15ml melted unsalted butter
150g all-purpose flour
1.5g salt
Mix well
Cover and rest for 20 minutes
After 20 minutes
Cover and rise until double-size
Sprinkle some flour
Knead the dough
Flatten the dough
The diameter is about 20cm
Place the mashed potato on the dough
Cover the mashed potato with the dough
Gently flatten the dough
Place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper
Cover and rise for 30-45 minutes
Brush egg wash
Make indents in the dough with your fingers
White sesame seeds
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 356F/180C
After baking
So crispy on the outside!
