I got a multiplayer game going on and I've been Tornado Alley the whole game. Im a storm chasing criminal megacorp and i have like 4 science ships casting Storm on a loop. My plan was to export them but instead i just attract every storm across the galaxy because I'm the only source of attraction in the galaxy. Everyone hates me and we saved as i was conjuring the hig one. I can't wait to unleash that on them

jep, first stellaris game with new dlc: got hit with a nexus storm at year 10 too. it ravaged half my empire for the next 10 years, after it finally went away and i reloaded a save 5 times to figure out how to prevent a rebellion. the neighboring grand admiral militaristic xenophobes thought that was a great time to invade me... they where right...
to bad for them the xenophiles on my other side had just decided to take pitty on me and guarantee my independence. with no fleet to speak of, i stacked my homeplanet with armies to stall the xenophobes and watched the xenophiles take all the systems i had claimed at the start of the war and win the war for me, granting me another 6 systems and a planet from the xenophobes. ;)

I have a storyline going where my stormchaser (the vanilla one) captured the center of galaxy and befriended zadrigal. For their service, Zadriga controls the world in the center of the galaxy, Zadrigal has gone through suffering but now zadrigal spends their time riding cosmic storms with another leader who is actually the chosen one of the composer of strands.

Eventually Cetana attacked the galaxy, and The chosen one sacrificed himself to redeem Cetana, so now that ship was gifted to Zadrigal and they just surf cosmic storms in the middle of the galaxy in safety :)

turning up storms has been so much fun :) i love this dlc. this and astral planes makes me do things other than move fleets around in the midgame

I've had storms just delete empires; with a combination of rebellions from 100% devastation and going bankrupt.

Maybe try starting as a non mega corp and then reform early into one to prevent the ai generation from spawning more mega corps to match you.

man i had a nexus storm hit my capital and surrounding colonies and raised several to 100% devistation then my first colony kept getting hit by back to back storms for like, 50 years and stayed above 90% devistation.. it sucked

Video Idea. Conqueror the entire Galaxy but only by war of conquest or other means. No vassaling of any empire. Would be pretty cool to see. And you are quite the militarist. Also I don’t think you have already done it?
