My mom did the same thing to me. She Chose a drunk over me. I was homeless for 2 years. Through Faith and Hope, Hope Is Powerful I now have an apartment I'm working out Regularly. You are a Great Inspiration To Me. Thank You.

My heart goes out to people whose mother's fear of being alone was greater than her love for her child. I'm so glad that you didn't give up on yourself.

Good dad, I'm convinced he's a big reason The Rock is as good a man as he is today.

Rocky Johnson used to come to Tracy California summertime, to fish at the Delta. As kids, we would go watch him and his friends. My brother was the only one to go up to him and asked for an autograph. He gave him one and talked with him for hours. Before he left, he gave us his fish he caught. We were the poor kids your parents told you no to plat with. Those fish meant the world to us.❤❤❤❤

He said "...my dad's mom..." That says it all.

I can relate. My mom's 18 year old boyfriend says to my mom one night, "Either he goes or l go." Got off the schoolbus the next day and everything l owned was packed up in garbage bags. Just turned 15 and homeless. This brings tears to my eyes as l write this, l never spent one night out in the cold because I was surrounded by such real friends. I spent the next few years couch surfing, graduated high school, got a good job, l am now married, owner of a successful golf course, own a beautiful home, my oldest son is an Army Ranger and my youngest is a Dr. at U of M. Surround yourself with real friends. They will lift you up if needed. Trust me.

It says everything that Dwayne describes her as his dad's mom and not his grandmother, what a piece of work

I am an old man now but I raised my two boys myself.I've never seen two brothers closer than mine. I love them way more than I love myself and I never married.

Rocky Johnson used to work out at the Hayward boys club when I was a kid. He was a great wrestler all of us kids loved him and looked up to him. He was on TV every Saturday morning on a wrestling show called big time wrestling. I absolutely loved him. I’m sorry to hear that he had such a rough life as a young man.
