In "Programming the triggers" section you can put "stop motor" block directly after "repeat until". No need to create separate "when" section.

At 8:45 you are using the xy axis joystick controllers but you programmed it in that example to use L2 and R2. I don't get it.

I used PS4 to control a simple vehicle. Rear wheel drive with differential and front wheel steering. Two motors. Used left joystick for steering and right to move. Did not used "canned" code from Lego. Programmed my self. Added wrinkle: Used sensors to detect a barrier and have vehicle back up and turn. The other sensor to detect when about to go over edge and do the same thing.

Hello builderdude 35 I really love your videos and I have a query which I can't find the answer to without the robot inventor (I only have an ev3). Would it be possible to make a drone which could lift off the ground with the 4 robot inventor motors?
If you could try this I would be highly appreciative and if it works it would be a great tutorial idea. Please could you respond when/if you try this.

For example, the MVP uses the A and B, but I like to use other ports.

I'd like to use a PS4 Controller for a Lego Battlebot! :) Of course, a Lego Sumobot would be good too. Those big wheels are quite grippy.
