The skin tones at the beginning of the comparison were so much nicer on the Canon. They have the best colour science. Sony is much higher quality overall though

Just as everyone says, Canon's Color Science is actually quite a bit better than Sony's. The color pallette is warmer and quite a bit more natural and flattering, but Sony's focus tracking is most definitely superior. Your mind is made up, no nothing I say will alter your decision. I wish you much joy with your new camera!!

This was super helpful to see the footage side by side! That was a really great editing option, thanks for doing that! Also the product showcase mode on the sony was so fast which feels like such a plus. This was a helpful comparison also coming from someone who doesn't necessarily need all the bells and whistles the same way most people who would be buying this camera wouldn't need them either.

My eyes are really so drawn to the canon just cause it looks more natural. But the autofocus features on the ZV1 is so enticing. Haha. I heard the battery isnt so good too

I had no idea about the canon, but i love the color on the canon so much more. Even though the colors on sony are vibrant, it does produce an uncanny result.

Canon seems to look better for me cuz I prefer less saturation. But Canon seems to have a stronger buzz in the audio background, especially outdoors. I would've like to see you walk and talk with both, I think Canon has bit better stabilization with less crop, at least what I've seen in other videos. I had ZV-1 and ZV-1 horribly shaky and with stabilization way too cropped and I am kinda a minimalist so I hated dragging around wide angle lens (at least I put it on by magnetic mount so no need screwing around but you have to make sure its properly attached or it will fall off). I wonder if Canon with stab on will be wide enough. iPhone 13 Pro is ok but missing something, but it's so convenient and light and stable with such a wide angle BUT its missing that zing and sound can be meh unless close to camera and not lots of background noise, it seems you really have to push the volume up a lot in post sometimes. BUT the product showcase for those who use that feature are stellar on Sony.

The canon looks more like film, while the colors are more saturated on the sony, it's also blowing the highs where the canon isn't.

If canon added an external mic slot and improved the low light capability, the mark ii would be the perfect camera

I have the ZV-1 and I think it looks much more "cinematic" than the G7X! The only downside is color, but that's less noticeable to a YouTube audience than the overall quality of footage.

The only thing I don't like with Sony ZV-1 is the battery. It goes empty too fast.
