Thank you for the very informative video.
As a Portuguese dividend investor, I disagree with your opinion on XTB:
- they are pushy with the derivatives offer but you can just block that noise out;
- they offer a vast range of European stocks for free (with a moderate spread, as you mentioned) and a decent selection of UCITS ETFs as well;
- they advance the dividend amount on the payment date so I don´t have to wait one or two business days to receive my cash;
- Besides having a regulated branch in Portugal and an insured bank account, they offer a lot of content done by native analysts.

I have heard of Trade Republic before but your review got me tempted. I just might open an account soon.

I trade on the eToro platform now for 6 years. What I missed about the short review about eToro is that when you have a total of 25k on your account (invested & free cash) you will receive an interest on the total amount. Currently this is 2, 4% @ 25k, 2, 9% @ 50k and 3, 4% @ 250k.

Thank you for the vid Angelo. I opened an account with IB based on your recommendation. It is indeed a complicated platform compared with Degiro. I'm leaving Degiro because of the new handling fees that came to effect mid-May on ETFs.

Can you share your thoughts on IB's No Transaction Fee ETFs please? browsing through some of those I couldn't find the symbols on justetf and the ones I did find had a high cost p/a in comparison to the ones you recommend in your other vids. Thanks!

Hi Angelo. If you compare the spread on VWCE between XTB and IBKR, you will realize it's the same: 1 pip = 0.01 on the actual value. And in XTB you have not costs for buying/selling your positions. Is there something I'm not seeing here? XTB has a 0, 50% fee on currency conversion, which on higher amounts gives IBKR a clear win, but as you buy VWCE (XETRA), you buy in EUR, so even can can be avoided on XTB.

Hi Angelo! I have a question, I want to start compounding long term by buying ETFs every month for the next 20 years or more. I'm quite undecided, Interactive Brokers seems like the most secure option long term, specially if I'm going to accumulate over 100k or 200k € but they take care of the taxes for me. On the other hand, XTB does that I think and also has offices in Portugal, which is where I'm from but doesn't seem as secure. What's your opinion?
