I really like the aesthetic of the weapons between Dying Light 1 and 2. In the first game, the outbreak was still fairly recent with plenty of intact items to make use of, and didn't really have a "DIY" look unless you combined them with blueprints. In Dying Light 2, you can clearly see that the situation has deteriorated pretty far. With so many things being repurposed for matters of survival, pretty much any object can be made lethal with a little creativity. My personal favorite here is the Street Cleaver. A chainsaw bar can still be plenty painful even without a working motor.

Almost all of the weapons in the game blend well with British, Roman, Mongolian and Japanese cultures. And that's why I like this game.

It's pity, that no firearms in this game, and 99% all weapons is melee weapons.
This 1% is only bow and crossbow. :(

I Most Definitely like the Barbarian right here. To me, it is close to a Greatsword as I ever gonna see

I do like the Improvised Weapons, I find them very interesting

I feel like they could've added some guns and make them rare af. Dying light 1 was in time where only one city was infected so it was logical to have variety of firepower while DL2 is set 2 decades after that. Still, there should be a few weapons laying here and there

I hope they add basic firearms like a double barrel shotgun or a rusty revolver etc with extremaly rare ammunition if they want to keep the game melee focused but to allow for some flexibility in the gameplay. Blackpowder flitnlock weapons with limited capacity and slow reload but readily available ammunition would be cool too! And if they remove this stupid denuvo at some point, I'll buy this game but for the time being it is a pass for me.

17:20 it's good to see a walking stick still there long after a break out. But what surprise me is, people don't add anything to the walking stick like many weapons in this game, they creative, add some blades or weights or even reinforced the basic thing like a bat. This is just an original walking stick.

I love the design and creativity of these weapons, but some confuse me. Like one of the has (I presume) live rounds welded to the frame of the weapon.
The Crosier is the weapon I'm on about.

Far Cry 6 should have a Police Stick including all melee weapons.

P.S: On this game, I think that they not using firearms because the effects of this issues are like:
Rifled gun barrels lifespan,
Gunpowders shortages,
Bullet casings shortages,
And more...
