I think SMSL assumed many would buy this as a stack and use the DAC as the pre-out to a speaker Amp or powered monitors. Also I've read that to get the absolute best out of the unit you need a DAC that outputs 5.4 volts or more balanced. Anything less and there is a noticable difference.

I'm wondering if you tried the stack via XLR and if you noticed a difference.

Hello you are not working properly you need to put the dac in the mode of the dac only that it is not possible to play with the volume in this mode the dac emits 4 watts and hurts the resolution of the dac
