I see in your entry level dac reccomendation list the topping d10s, is the review going to come in the future? I'm searching for a replacement to my dying fiio k3 to hook up to my topping l30 and sundara, and this is definetely an intriguing option, but considering I really care only for the sound the extra bucks saved on the d10s wouldn't be bad.

Tbh channel imbalance issues are deal breaker for me. All FiiO products, including those cheaper than this stack have digital volume control with perfect channel balance... If 1 speaker is louder than the other that is a huge issue and you will notice that way more than slight changes in actual sound quality.

For IEM's my current favorite setup is a decent set of IEM's (e.g. S12's, Olina's, HeartMirror, T3+) paired to KZ AZ09 Pro's (BT 5.2 AptX adaptive, US$26) and a FiiO BTA30 Pro (BT 5.0 DAC transmitter, US$116). Perfect for me when playing quality files from my PC via USB-A to USB-C/FiiO BTA30 Pro. For LDAC via PC-BTA30Pro (TX), I go cabled IEM connected to a FiiO BTR5/2021, US$125).

Unfortunately, channel imbalance and audible noise are deal breakers even at affordable prices. Topping DX3 pro dac and heaphone amp in one $199.
