Huge Golden Trapdoor Spider In Natural Setup
Hey guys ! Heres a little slow motion fun with the beast !
She's a wild caught adult female (Euoplos Sp.) who has taken extremely well to the tank we have modeled after her natural environment.
These guys do fine in tubs and jars, but a sloped set up using natural clays and debris has brought out so much more of her natural behavior than any other set-up i've kept these guys in.
I often hear a 'thunk' and look up to see a new blob of clay on the glass, with her trapdoor closing shortly after :D
