OnePlus Nord CE 5G Review - The Best Cheap Smartphone

If you are after a budget phone, the OnePlus Nord CE is hands down one of the best cheap smartphones on the market. I bought this one as a replacement for my partner’s aging OnePlus 3T, and I was honestly blown away with what you get for your money. To make it clear, it’s no flagship killer, but it doesn’t claim to be and the tradeoffs you make I think are perfectly reasonable.

Really sad that 335 EUR (the cheapest I can find it locally) phone is considered budget or cheap esp. considering that's half the monthly income for most ppl here.
My Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) still going strong after 4y+ and it is the (only?) J7 model that's completely aluminium and not plastic so it feels/looks more premium.
Could use a new batt but it's not too bad and I always have something to charge it with within reach.

You lost me at "no memory expansion slot." I was very with my Motorola G5 Plus that survived a fall from a 4th floor balcony without a protective case. But sadly it was stolen. So my father gave me his old Samsung Galaxy S8+ and I bought a 128GB SD card to extend its lifetime. So if I had to buy again, I would probably prefer Motorola but was long as it has a memory expansion slot. But who knows what would be the offer by then. In this economy I change my phone every 5/6 years at most.

Oof. Yeah I wouldn't call this budget. It's safely in the upper layers of what I'd call mid-range.
