At one point in time, MANY years ago "All Windows Server installations WERE the same." Alas, not true with Server 2016 and newer, particularly Server 2019, which requires UEFI mode to install. Conveniently, Gen8 servers do NOT support UEFI, hence installing Server 2016 and newer is VERY difficult, if not impossible.

how much does it cost to operated this server? I'm planning to buy this for home data storage instead of NAS on amazon which can cost $400 for 4+ bay systems. Is it a good idea?

Boa tarde ! Tenho um servidor HP Proliant DL380p Gen8. Quero ligar o 5 e não consigo. Instalei o 5 HD, mas não aparece no servidor. Este HD de um 1T para documentos e bkp. como faço para habilitar este novo HD ?

Can I've the latest Firmware update for DL380 G8. I am failed to install Windows server 2012 r2 Data Center. Also if you can provide me the smart start ISO.
