I like your video because you don't waste time about the small stuff. You get to the important stuff and edit properly. Thanks.

Looked up ledger videos to see how I could hold the board in place and this gave me just what I needed. Thanks!

The 304 is the grade of stainless steel. In my world of pipefitting 304, 308, 316, 324 are grades of stainless. They commonly use 316 for food grade tubing for process piping. The higher the number the more nickel. There may be more to this than my observations. Thanks for the video. Those fasteners are impressive. I have never seen them before.

You guys rock. I'm doing this exact thing on my deck rebuild, your videos give me the confidence and know how to get it done. Keep it up!

So I tend to 1. pilot the holes in the timber ledger off wall, 2. line up the ledger plumb and level on the wall with chocks, 3. drill first few 1/4inch of all holes into masonry though the ledger, 4. Remove ledger and fully drill all holes and clean out, 5. Then fix ledger. You almost have to do it this way with resin anchors. Nice video!

I'm getting ready to build another house and this time I am raising the stem-wall height 9-1/2" in the front and back door sections. This will allow for exterior concrete poured against the foundation without touching wood. This house called for cripples in the 4 foot crawl space but I am requesting pier/post/beam style to increase the crawl and duct areas. I'm also adding lights and foam around the stem wall. It should be a very dry "warmer" environment. See ya

Great video. Do you have a video which shows how to attach a ledger board to a stucco+plywood wall? Thanks.

I have a 10 foot ledger, 2x10, to attach to concrete. I am attaching box stairs to it and side planter boxes. How many bolts and how far apart do I need to drill the bolt holes?

Appreciate the video. Great info as usual. Can you tell me what diameter of Titen bolt you are using? Thanks in advance!

The SDS max is a bit overkill and so is the wrench but I own both of those HiKoki tools myself so I can't complain. HiKoki makes great tools.

F-me. I can’t find the video to how you prepped the spacers. If you could link, please do. 😊

Did you drill through the spacers and into the wall, or in between the spacers?

Hello Dr..what did you use for spacers between the concrete and board?

Stainless corrodes in wet anarobic environments such as in wood. Galvanized is cheaper and will last longer.
