I bought the KOWA TSN-82SV scope, the TE-9Z (20-60x) zoom eyepiece to use at the shooting range. This saves me a lot of effort walking to-and-back between shooting-bench & the targets when I have to check the precision & accuracy of my shots - especially so when shooting at ranges above 100 metres.

I also bought the KOWA TSN-PA8 digiscope photo adapter, & TSN-CM2-CE CANON EF lens-mount adapter. This adapter enables me to mount my CANON EOS 5DIII camera to the TE-9Z eyepiece, & take photographs.

The KOWA products are made in Japan, & KOWA manufactures a wide range of high quality sport optics equipment.

In this video, I give a detailed review of the product features, & include high resolution photographs of the products, and also comparison photographs of 2 objects taken through the spotting-scope & CANON 5DIII camera.

The 2 comparison objects are:
a) high-voltage electrical power transmission tower (distance 1,000 metres away) photographed at 20x & 60x Zoom.
a) light-fitting on brick wall (distance 40 metres away) photographed at 20x & 60x Zoom.

The spotting-scope with 20-60x Zoom eyepiece can be a useful equipment for photographic adventurers who like to take pictures of animals, birds, & any other objects of interest; or for spotting targets at a shooting range.

I am pleased with this spotting scope & accessories.

I liked the video, do you have pictures of the rifle targets at 100 and 300 meters/yards? Can you clearly see the shots with a dark background?

Hi! Thank you for demonstration. Have a question. Is eyerelief changeble with zooming or stays the same?

My 80mm Kowa RSN-series scope, costing over £1500 over twenty years ago, has now become sticky wherever the green finish has been put, and also the protective black ring around the front of the body. I am less than happy with this, as you can imagine, and will certainly NOT be buying any Kowa products in future.
