5 FAST FACTS About BAPTISM | Is it REQUIRED for SALVATION?

Jesus said, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved" (Mark 16:16). Does that mean that baptism is a requirement for salvation? I was baptized twice once at 13 and the second time I was around 35 .by Emerson both times .I know the Jesus is my lord and savior and that Jesus died for our sins .to give me a chance to have everlasting life like Jesus. I love or lord Jesus christ .amen and Amen

Amen!!! I have already been baptized a couple of years ago, and as you said in the video, we don't need to be baptized to be saved, but as a loving command right from Yeshua to us his followers! Yet it feels awesome that experience of being baptized, though!

Pr Fox, I agree whole-heartedly where you say at 1:36 that "Jesus is our shining example to follow today". Matt 26:18 "And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples."
Do you follow Jesus and keep the Passover? It starts in 2017 at sundown on April 10th.

The thief of the cross, people in hospitals mere moments from death. They were not or cannot be baptized in full immersion. Are they not save by faith in Jesus alone? It is faith not baptism by water that saves. It is faith and trust in Jesus alone by His grace we are saved. Baptism, in my understanding is for the benefit of those witnessing it for their inspiration.

For your to used the bible and clearly see that baptism from the words of Jesus in the actions of apostle clearly display it being necessary .. IT MUST BE ESSENTIAL TO SALVATION.

I was baptized in the name of the father son holy ghost and just recently someone told me it's invalid that I need to be baptized in Jesus name... Please someone share their insight on this I recieved the holy spirit before baptism God met me on my living room floor and convicted me of my wickedness and sin and for the first time i REPENTED and have completely turned from the sins i was bonded too and then soon after went to be baptized .

Awesome! I had a friend that wanted to be baptised, so i took her to the local church (happened to be an SDA church) and asked that she be baptised. I was shocked at the response. First they wanted to "interview" her, then the did not want to do it on that day as they were to caught up in their own self-gratification on things that they had recently done. So due to the lack of urgency, they failed to provide what God requires of his church, nor were they interested in hearing the angels rejoice (Luke 15:10).

What if u were baptized by immersion when younger, but arent sure if thats when you were REALLY saved and understood it all, but as u got older u understood it more. Should u be baptized again??

Salvation comes from the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross. If salvation comes from water baptism why Jesus had to die on the cross so horribly?

I have a question regarding Baptism. From the earliest time I can remember, we attended church. I was first Baptized around the age of 12, I think that it was more because my parents wanted it. I remember many of us kids were Baptized at the same time. Then some years later, in 2002, I was Baptized because it was my choice this time but it was also in a different denomination. I have recently left that church because they do not recognize the Saturday Sabbath as well as some other things that I questioned over time, I have been trying to find a new church home. So I guess my question is... When we are Baptized, are we Baptized into Jesus' Church or is it a combination of Jesus' Church and membership in that church/denomination?

Salvation is just a matter of genuine or well-established faith being read in one's heart by God the Savior .

Minute 1:01. You quoted we are saved by grace? This scripture is written in Ephesians 2:8 which is a letter written to saints ( Christians who have obeyed the gospel written in acts 2:38) this is not a letter written to sinners so doesn’t apply to people who haven’t been saved.

i had a problem, i was baptized by Catholic Church but now the evangelic church requires 1 year in church for baptism

Love your videos, this is absolutely correct, therefore, babies and children who have no personal knowledge of Christ cannot be baptized, only the christening of the child's name into the church. Many churches claim children can be baptized through their believing parents ---- I don´t think so! And why don´t all churches follow Christ´s example of emersion?
